The end of October, we launched our new patient portal. With our new patient portal, you’re still able to see your personal health information and exchange messages with your doctor and care team.
For now, you’re still able to use NextMD patient portal to look at old messages and download your health records.
Information about your health history will move to the new patient portal. But any documents you have saved in NextMD will not be available in the new portal, such as appointment notes and emails with your care team.
You must log into NextMD and download any documents you want to save.
If you have a NextMD account and have logged in within the last two years, you’ll soon get an email invitation from us to sign up for our new patient portal.
If you want to start using our new patient portal before you get our email invitation, please call your USMD clinic and let them know. You can also follow these steps:
- Step 1: At your next USMD visit, tell us you want to sign up and give us your email address. We’ll email you an invitation.
- Step 2: Follow the steps in the email invitation to sign up. You’ll also create a username and password. Then, follow the onscreen prompts to start using your account.
- Step 3: Use your username and password to log in so you can securely stay in touch with your doctor and care team and see your health information anytime.
